House Rules
Quiet time in the neighborhood between 10PM and 6AM.
Lost key/lockout fee is $50
Please park only in the designated parking area
Pets are not allowed
No smoking indoors
Check-in is after 3pm
Check-out is by 10am. For check out, there are just a few things we ask
Please return any furnishings you may have moved to their original place.
Gather any trash.
Close all doors and windows.
Put the key/s back where you found them, lock up with the lockbox key, and send us a message when you have left.
By booking this listing, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions in addition to the house rules:
Damages: After your departure, we will conduct an inspection of the property and any damage or excessive cleaning will be charged to your card on file. If you elected to purchase travel insurance we will file a claim with the insuring company.
Please, no illegal activity.
Smoking indoors is not allowed. If renting a multi-house property and other guests are located adjacent or near your rental, please do not smoke within 20 feet of other renters or houses. You will be charged a $500 cleaning fee if you smoke in the house.
It is required that guests keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Please do not re-arrange furniture. In the unfortunate event that something is damaged, missing, or not working properly, please inform us immediately.
Pets are not allowed at this listing. If evidence of a pet is found at the property you will be charged a minimum $300 cleaning fee.
Parking: Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. No trailers or recreational vehicles (RVs) are permitted. Please refer to the house manual for property-specific parking arrangements.
While linens and bath towels are included in the home, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We will provide two rolls of paper towels, three rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, two sets of individual shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per bathroom, and basic kitchen items (salt, pepper, oil, etc). It is the responsibility of the guest to purchase any additional items they may need.
Access: Guests shall allow us and third party contractors access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. We shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner except in the case of an emergency.
We, property owners, and broker are not responsible for lessee’s personal property. If personal belongings are found by our cleaning staff after you depart, we can make arrangement to ship the belongings to you at your cost.
Please contact us prior to your check-in/check-out day if you need to adjust your time. Generally we are not able to give early check-ins/ late check-outs due to guests leaving and arriving the same day and we need time in between to clean and prepare, but we will do our best to accommodate. If you check-out late without approval, we may charge a late check-out fee of $40/hr.
Arrival
Parking: Your parking space is located off of Canyon Rd. Look for the blue sign that reads '824'. Follow the driveway to the right. The parking space is in front of the gate marked 'A B'. Please do not park in any of the neighboring spaces.
Access: After you park, go through the gate marked 'A B'.
Door: Once past the gate, the lockbox is located to the right of the wooden door. Please return the key to the lockbox after you have opened the doors as there will be a set inside for you to use during your stay. Please note: the door locks automatically when closed.

The internet modem/router is in the living room closet.
Television
The TV is a smart TV. Turn on the TV with the power button on the Samsung remote. From there press the ’home’ button. You can then use your Netflix or Amazon Prime account to stream movies by choosing either as your source and logging in, or stream live TV by selecting ’Samsung TV Plus’ as your source.
Trash and Recycling
There is a large green trash bin located outside the casita to the right of the parking area.
A small blue recycling bin is next to the trash. The recycling bin takes all recyclables except glass. Glass can go in the green trash bin.
Both trash and recycling are picked up on Tuesday mornings on Canyon Rd.
Fire Safety
There are smoke/CO detectors in all bedrooms and common areas.The fire extinguisher is located in the hall, near the back door.
Other Safety Items
First aid: The first aid kit is in the bathroom below the sink.
Flashlight: There is a flashlight in the living room closet.
Bathmat: There is a non-slip bathmat for the shower/tub under the bathroom sink.
Breaker/ Fuse Box
If you should need to access the fuse box, it is located in the bedroom, to the left of the bed.
Climate Control- Heat
Heat: The main thermostat located in the living room controls the central heat throughout the casita.
In the Summer, there is a portable fan. The key to making use of the adobe walls and keeping the house cool in the warmer months is to open the windows at night, then close the windows and blinds in the morning to keep in the cool air.

The Neighborhood
Santa Fe
Canyon Road is a short walk down the driveway. There are many galleries and restaurants there including, The Teahouse, El Farol, Geronimo (reservations recommended), and The Compound (reservations recommended).
The Santa Fe Plaza is also nearby. At about 1mi away, you may choose to walk or drive. Around the Plaza you will find the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis de Assisi, Palace of the Governors, and the Loretto Chapel, as well as many restaurants; The Shed, The Palace Restaurant, La Boca, and the Bull Ring are all right there, just to name a few.
The Railyard District (1.5mi) is a large arts district with galleries, performance spaces, a cinema, restaurants & antique shops. Visit the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, the Boxcar to catch the game, and Second Street brewery for live music and a pint. The Violet Crown Cinema has a large lineup of local New Mexican craft beers as well as a full dinner menu.
Museum Hill is off of Old Santa Fe Trail and is home to the Botanical Gardens, the Museum of Indian Arts, the International Folk Art Museum, the Wheelwright Museum, and the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art.
The Santa Fe Ski Basin is about thirty minutes away. You can rent equipment at Alpine Sports in town or wait until you get to the mountain.
There are trails for every kind of hiker here; Some a mere ten minutes up the hill from your casita (Atalaya Trail), and others further out of town.
Meow Wolf is an immersive and interactive experience that transports audiences of all ages into fantastic realms of story and exploration. This includes art installations, video and music production, and extended reality content. House of Eternal Return, was launched in March 2016 with support from Game of Thrones creator, George R.R. Martin. Inside, guests discover a multidimensional mystery house with secret passages, portals to magical worlds, and an expansive narrative amidst surreal, maximalist, and mesmerizing art exhibits.

Spas
Ten Thousand waves is a world class Japanese style spa, less than twenty minutes from your residence! Enjoy the public baths or rent a private tub. Massages and various other treatments are available. Their restaurant, Izanami, is fabulous and serves izakaya small plates for sharing.
Ojo Caliente is about an hour or so north and boasts one of the oldest hot spring spas in the country. Historic, peaceful, and beautiful, this full-service spa is a must-see for folks interested in a day of pampering.
Horseback Riding
Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu offers trail rides through some of Northern New Mexico’s most scenic panoramas. The guides are well versed in the history of the property, from the early outlaws who settled there, to Georgia O’Keeffe’s legacy, not to mention prehistoric history that came before, and movie trivia that followed after (many movies have been filmed at Ghost Ranch). No experience necessary! The ranch is about an hour and fifteen minutes North.

For some out of town fun, Taos is a beautiful hour and a half drive North West, and Albuquerque is about 45 minutes South. Both offer tastes of New Mexico not found anywhere else!
Getting Around
Once in town, getting around is easy. Downtown Santa Fe and the surrounding historic districts are compact and most conveniently traveled on foot. It’s no wonder Santa Fe was voted one of America’s Top Rated Walking Cities.
The Santa Fe Pickup Shuttle
Free shuttle service that starts and ends in front of the former New Mexico Film Museum (the Jean Cocteau Cinema) on Montezuma Avenue and runs counter-clockwise with various stops around downtown.
Bus Service
Santa Fe has public transportation called Santa Fe Trails Bus Service.
Ride-Sharing Service
Uber & Lyft rides can easily be arranged in Santa Fe using their apps.
Downtown Parking
Metered parking spots in downtown Santa Fe cost $2.00 an hour and are in operation from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, excluding major holidays.
Bikeways and Trails
Bicycle paths and trails for all levels of riders are located in and around the city.
