Big Brothers Big Sisters will not share or sell a donor's personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.
Your support helps us continue to provide new cultural and social activities for Littles, recruit new Bigs and volunteers, cover the costs of background checks, as well as enable ongoing supervision and relationship support for every Big, Little, and Little’s family.

DONATING ONLINE IS JUST THE START
Children in our community need mental health resources now more than ever. You have an opportunity to impact their lives.
The last few years have created challenges for our communities in the face of COVID-19, and especially mental health challenges affecting children. More than half of middle and high school students in Santa Cruz County reported experiencing persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, according to the California Healthy Kids Survey (2021).
We’re expanding our programs and services at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County to meet this current need —so we can develop more college grads, community leaders, and entrepreneurs.
Each child is unique, and so are the reasons for deciding to give.

MATCHING GIFTS & VOLUNTEER INCENTIVES
Some employers will match their employee’s gifts to charities and some will provide a financial contribution in honor of the time you spend as a volunteer.
We do not charge families to participate in our program. Even if you can’t commit to being a mentor right now, you can be a part of creating a bright future for the children in our community! Start their mentoring relationship off right by helping to cover the costs of background checks, support, and their first meeting.
Our annual budget is comprised 100% of contributed income. Our agency has no earned revenue stream, nor do we charge any individual or family to participate in our program. As a consequence, our annual budget is comprised of grants, sponsorships, individual giving and event income.
