First grade is #1!

This year we will gain a better understanding of our world, as well as our place in it. We will study patterns and structures of animals, plants, and seasons. We will begin independent reading and expand our math skills with problem solving and operations.

According to Lao Tzu, a Chinese philosopher, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” We will take take steps daily to reach our goals, and we will gain independence along our journey through first grade!

We are excited to use Chromebooks in school this year. We will gain more confidence in our ability to communicate and successfully use technology.
