Library Rules & Regulations

Welcome to the Sanjivani K.B.P. Polytechnic Library. All library users are requested to follow the rules below to ensure a pleasant and productive environment for everyone.

1. Library Identity Card

Students must carry their valid Library/Institute Identity Card while visiting the library.

Entry without a valid card may not be permitted.

2. Borrowing of Books

Inspect the book carefully before borrowing.

If any pages, illustrations, or other materials are missing or damaged, report it immediately to the library staff.

3. Due Date & Overdue Fine

Books must be returned on or before the due date.

Overdue charges:

₹0.50 per day for the first 7 days.

₹1.00 per day after 7 days.

4. Loss or Damage of Library Card

A damaged or lost library card must be reported immediately.

A replacement fee of ₹50 will be charged.

5. Recall of Books

The Librarian reserves the right to recall any issued book at any time if required.

6. Overnight Issue

Books issued for overnight reading must be returned on time.

A fine of ₹5 per day will be charged for late return.

7. Validity

The library card is valid only for use at the Sanjivani K.B.P. Polytechnic Library.

General Guidelines

Maintain complete silence inside the library.

Handle library books and other resources with care.

Do not write, mark, fold, or damage library materials.

Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode.

Food and beverages are not allowed inside the library.

Follow the instructions of the library staff at all times.
