Every year the WESTOP SoCal Chapter holds a Student Leadership Conference where 10 - 15 TS Participants are selected to attend and learn about: leadership, careers, college, and much more. TRIO programs from Southern California get together for this conference with a collected number of 500 to 1000 students like yourself for a fun filled day of workshops, entertainment, speakers, and resources.

Every one of the TRIO Programs in assistance nominates 1 exemplary senior for scholarships available thanks to funds raised among the WESTOP SoCal Chapter network of Professionals. This year we nominated Elizabeth Howard for one of six scholarships available.

We are very proud of Elizabeth for her excellence in: citizenship, academics, and friendship. As she has quoted herself "she believed she could, so she did". Good Luck Elizabeth!
