Our School, Family, and Community Liaison promotes and enhances the school, family, and community connection by greeting the public and responding to requests for information and services. Their goal is to engage parents and the community in a collaborative process of partnership-building. The School, Family, and Community Liaison also recruits for and supports community/parent volunteers.
SJUSD's Family Engagement Center is here to support you as you support your child. We know that parent involvement is not limited to volunteering in your child's classroom. We encourage you to partner with us and explore all the different ways that you can exercise your parent involvement to support your child's school and their academic success.
Coffee with the Educational Therapists is scheduled every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 9-10 am. Parents and Ed. Therapists share an informal time to find out about mental health and different topics regarding your student's education. This is also a good opportunity to meet and chat with other parents and share ideas to improve our program.
