Meet Ms. Ross!
Greetings! My name is Laura Ross. I am the proud school counselor at Rose Salgado Elementary.
I am from the Atlanta, Georgia area, where I was a school counselor for 19 years. I'm excited to continue my counseling journey here in Southern California as an RSE Bear for year two!
I am a "triple dawg" after receiving 3 degrees from the University of Georgia. I have my Bachelor and Master degrees in Social Work and my Specialist of Education in Professional School Counseling.
My passion is to create equitable and inclusive spaces for ALL students where they can feel connected to others, build community, express and enhance their personal assets and develop knowledge, attitudes, and skills to be successful as an elementary student and beyond.
