Officer Roles and Responsibilities

The President is responsible for establishing agendas and presides over all meetings.  The President assists with all ASB roles, communicates with administration and at SUSD Board Meetings, as well as overseeing all Hallmark leadership committees.  This is the manager of our organization and the ideal representation of Hallmark Academy. 

The Vice President fills in when the President is unable to fulfill their duties.  They work directly with the Activities Director and play a large role in making sure our events are Striker approved.  The Vice President is our liaison between off campus  and on campus administration, including assisting the President at the SUSD School Board meetings.

The Secretary is responsible for keeping accurate meeting minutes and notes.  This person updates our calendar and events.  The Secretary notifies and communicates with officers and committees to ensure we meet our deadlines.  Our secretary is the personal calendar for our organization and keeps us on track at all times.

The Activities Director is responsible for planning, scheduling and organizes events.  This person is responsible for organizing committees for events and developing new ideas to increase school spirit and morale.  Activities Director gets all flyers and signs approved through administration, ensuring that all visible communications meet the standards of Hallmark Academy.

The Treasurer is responsible for managing the leadership funds and social media accounts.  This person is responsible for ensuring that Leadership is in compliance with school financial policies, while making sure our committees stay on budget for each project or event.

Our Class Representatives are the voice of each of our high school grade levels.  These students serve as a liaison between their grade level peers and the leadership team to ensure any concerns, comments or ideas are being heard.  These representatives are responsible for our monthly staff and student polls, delivering results to our Hallmark ASB Officers.  There are 4 representatives; 1 Freshman, 1 Sophmore, 1 Junior and 1 Senior.
