Officer Roles and Responsibilities

The ASB President serves as the leader of the organization by setting agendas, presiding over all meetings, and ensuring that the goals of the student body are carried out effectively. The President supports and collaborates with all ASB officers, serves as the primary liaison between ASB and school administration, and represents Hallmark Academy at SUSD Board Meetings and other official events.

In addition, the President oversees all Hallmark Leadership committees, helps coordinate school-wide initiatives, and ensures that leadership teams work together toward a common vision. As the chief student leader, the President exemplifies the values, professionalism, and school spirit of Hallmark Academy while serving as the organization's manager and primary representative.

The ASB Vice President serves as the second-in-command of the organization and assumes the President's responsibilities whenever the President is unable to fulfill their duties. The Vice President works closely with the Activities Director to help plan, coordinate, and ensure that all school events meet Striker standards and are executed successfully.

The Vice President also serves as a key liaison between on-campus and district administration, helping maintain strong communication and collaboration. In addition, they assist the President in representing Hallmark Academy at SUSD School Board meetings and support all aspects of student leadership to help the organization achieve its goals.

The ASB Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate meeting agendas, minutes, and organizational records. They manage the ASB calendar, keep important dates and events up to date, and ensure that schedules are communicated clearly to officers and committees.

The Secretary plays a vital role in keeping the organization organized by sending reminders, communicating deadlines, and helping leadership stay on track with projects and responsibilities. As the organizational planner for Hallmark Academy ASB, the Secretary ensures that nothing falls through the cracks and that the team remains focused, prepared, and on schedule.

The Activities Director is responsible for planning, scheduling, and organizing school events that promote student involvement, school spirit, and a positive campus culture. They lead the development of creative ideas and coordinate event committees to ensure activities are well-planned, engaging, and successful.

The Activities Director also oversees the approval process for event flyers, posters, and other promotional materials, working closely with school administration to ensure all public communications meet the standards and expectations of Hallmark Academy. Through strong organization, creativity, and collaboration, the Activities Director helps bring the student experience to life.

The ASB Treasurer is responsible for managing the organization's finances and overseeing Hallmark Academy Leadership's social media presence. They work to ensure that all financial transactions comply with school and district policies while maintaining accurate records of budgets, purchases, and expenditures.

The Treasurer collaborates with leadership committees to develop and monitor budgets for projects and events, helping teams use funds responsibly and effectively. In addition, they help promote school events and celebrate student achievements through ASB's social media platforms, keeping the school community informed and engaged.

Class Representatives serve as the voice of their grade level within Hallmark Academy Leadership. Each representative acts as a liaison between their classmates and the ASB leadership team, ensuring that student ideas, concerns, and feedback are heard and considered when making decisions that impact the school community.

Class Representatives are also responsible for organizing and conducting monthly student and staff polls, collecting feedback, and presenting the results to the Hallmark ASB Officers to help guide future events and initiatives. Hallmark Academy elects four Class Representatives — one Freshman, one Sophomore, one Junior, and one Senior—to ensure every grade level has a voice in student leadership.
