ANTICIPATED PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Stipend: $4,500.00 (one-time stipend for the duration of the ESY program)

QUALIFICATIONS
Valid New Jersey instructional or administrative certificate.
Special Education certification or endorsement preferred but not required.
Experience in special education programming, IEP development, and compliance with N.J.A.C. 6A:14 and IDEA.
Knowledge of Extended School Year eligibility criteria and programming requirements.
Experience with Child Study Team processes, including classifications, annual reviews, and reevaluations.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
JOB SUMMARY
The Extended School Year (ESY) Program Coordinator assumes administrative and programmatic responsibility for the planning, implementation, and oversight of the district's Extended School Year program during the summer session (July 6 – July 30, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM). The ESY Coordinator ensures that all services are delivered in compliance with IDEA, N.J.A.C. 6A:14, individual student IEPs, and board policy, and serves as the primary liaison between the Child Study Team, ESY instructional staff, families, and the CSA/Principal throughout the program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Special Education Oversight
Serves as liaison between the Child Study Team (CST), Response to Intervention Program (RTI), and the CSA/Principal relative to ESY programming and student needs.
Supervises CST and RTI activities, meetings, and conferences related to ESY eligibility determinations and programming.
Supervises Special Education programs during the ESY session to ensure compliance with N.J.A.C. 6A:14 and IDEA.
Supervises the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for all enrolled ESY students in accordance with N.J.A.C. and each student's IEP requirements.
Ensures ESY programming and related practices are consistent with Special Education policy developed in accordance with N.J.A.C. and applicable state and federal law.
Coordinates the documentation format for ESY-related classification decisions, annual reviews, and triennial reevaluations as applicable during the program period.
Acts as liaison between the CST, ESY classroom teachers, and parent support groups throughout the program.
Supervises all Instructional Aides assigned to special education and general education settings during the ESY program.
ESY Program Coordination & Administration
Assumes overall administrative responsibility for the planning, organization, and operation of the Extended School Year (ESY) program in accordance with IDEA, N.J.A.C. 6A:14, and board policy.
Coordinates with the Child Study Team prior to and during the ESY session to identify eligible students, develop appropriate ESY programming, and ensure timely notification to families.
Schedules and supervises all ESY instructional and support staff
Oversees the development of ESY daily schedules, curriculum, instructional materials, and related services to meet the IEP goals and objectives of enrolled students.
Monitors ESY program compliance on an ongoing basis; maintains all required records and attendance data; submits required reports to the NJDOE and the executive county superintendent.
Ensures that all ESY facilities, transportation arrangements, and operational logistics are in place and in compliance with applicable health, safety, and board requirements prior to the start of the program.
Evaluates the effectiveness of the ESY program at the conclusion of the session and submits a written summary report with recommendations for improvement to the CSA/Principal and Board of Education.
Performs such other duties and responsibilities as may be requested or assigned by the CSA/Principal that are within the scope of the position and consistent with applicable law, board policy, and the terms of employment.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a stipend position compensated at $4,500 for the full ESY program period (July 6 – July 30, Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM). The stipend is contingent upon completion of all assigned duties for the full duration of the program. The ESY Coordinator serves at the discretion of the CSA/Principal and the Board of Education. This position does not confer tenure or continuing contract rights.
EVALUATION
Performance in this stipend position will be evaluated by the CSA/Principal at the conclusion of the ESY program, in accordance with board policy. The evaluation will consider program compliance, staff supervision, IEP implementation fidelity, family communication, and the completeness and timeliness of all required reports and documentation.

Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School is seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team. In this tenure-track role, you will provide comprehensive counseling services that support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of our PK-6 students.
Responsibilities
Provide responsive, individualized counseling services to students
Develop and implement character education programs that support student growth
Offer guidance and professional development support to school staff
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to build strong support networks for students
Serve as Case Monitor for students on 504 plans and act as McKinney Vento Liaison
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Valid New Jersey School Counselor certification
Experience working with elementary-age students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
CPI certification preferred but not required
