SUNHACKS-2024 (15-17 March 2024)
Rules for participants
Participant must treat all other team members, competitors, judges, coaches, volunteers, etc, with respect and courtesy, abiding by the UQ code of conduct.
Complete Team must be present at the venue on the first day of the event without fail/any reasons.
SUNHACKS-2022 teams will be a maximum of 2-4participants.
Problem statement will be provided by SUNHACKS-2022 for each theme.
Each team must carry laptop and power extension.
Each team members must carry aadhar card, college id and color hard copy of sunhacks id with self attested photograph provided the Sandip University through whatsup or email.
Accommodation will be provided by University and only one participant allows taking rest in rest rooms.
As per the cool environment of Nashik each and every members should carry woolen cloths.
All prizes are to be shared among team members.
Prizes will be given irrespective of themes and problem statement. There will not any individual prize for any theme or problem statement.
Participating Teams should consist of students exclusively who would not be a part of any organizers, volunteers, judges, sponsors, or in another privileged position of the event or elsewhere.
SUN HACKS-2022 time period will cover three sessions:
a. Session-I (Day-1: 07:30 PM to Day-2: 07:29 AM)
b. Session-II (Day-2: 07:30 AM to Day-2: 07:29 PM)
c. Session-III (Day-2: 07:30 PM to Day-3: 07:30 AM)
All participating team members should remain present in all the three sessions of SUNHACKS-2022.
Participating teams can seek advice or support from the assigned mentors by SUNHACKS-2022 committee before start of Session-I.
Execution of the project should be performed during the SUNHACKAS-2022only.
Participating teams should work on ideas or themes provided to them by SUNHACKS-2022 committee before the start of session-1.
Teams can use online libraries, digital frameworks, or open-source code in their projects.
Use of previously completed or partially completed worksexecuted before the SUNHACKS-2022on the same project or theme are against the sole purpose of SUNHACKS-2022and this will be treated as violation of the rules and regulation of this event.
Participating team must have alternative arrangement for internet connection in emergency cases, if any.
Participating Teams must stop executing once the time is finished. However, participating teams could be allowed to debug within 15 minutes only and make small fixing to their programs after time closed (e.g.,if during demonstration of the performed work you find a bug that breaks your application and the fix is only a few lines of code, it’s could be permitted to fix that. Making large changes or adding new features are not allowed when time ends.)
Participating teams can be disqualified from the competition for violation of moral codes of conduct and the Rule regulation of the Sandip University, Nashik, as per discretion of the organizers/authorities/judges.
The executive decisions taken by the Sandip University, Nashik orSUNHACKAS-2022Committee shall be binding to all participants and teams in all circumstances and situation. The decision given will not be changed until or unless amended.
