Nashik has an airport at Ozhar. Regular Indigo flight are available to & from nashik.
MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
The best way to travel from Mumbai international airport is by road. The road distance is less than 200 kms and can be covered in around 3 hours.
You can opt for shared taxi from Mumbai airport through various private operators available at the Airport or else use other pre-paid taxes available from the Airport.
You can also use Private or Public Bus Services available.
One more option available is to Travel by Railway. You need to reach to Nashik Road Railway Station.
From the Nashik Road Railway Station, you may take City Bus going to Trimbak to Reach The Campus.
BY RAILWAYS:
The nearest railway station for Nashik city is Nashik Road Railway Station, located at a distance of 9 km from the city centre. There are multiple trains running from Mumbai & Pune that halt at Nasik Road Railway Station.
From Mumbai the Train to Nashik could be boarded from either Dadar or Kurla Terminus. The approx journey time is 3 hours.
From Pune one needs to board the train from Pune Railway Station. The Approx journey time is 5 hours
Upon reaching Nashik Road Railway Station, you may either take a Local City Bus travelling towards Trimbak or hire a direct auto rickshaw to the University Campus.
BY ROAD:
Nashik has good connectivity by Road, across multiple cities in India. The nearest cities shall be Mumbai (180 Km) , Pune (210 Km) or Shirdi (90 Km)
BY CAB :
Both Private & Shared Cab Services are available from different cities to reach Nashik. The duration of Journey by Road may vary depending on which location you start from.
BY BUS:
Multiple buses (both Private & Government) are available from Mumbai, Pune & Shirdi to Reach Nashik. These buses are available at frequent Intervals.
You need to reach the nearest local bus station to board these buses.
The Nearest 2 locations from Mumbai International Airport are Andheri & Dadar.
The boarding stations for Pune are Swargate & Shivaji Nagar
You can reach any of these locations by hiring local Auto Rickshaw or book an Ola / Uber Cab if you have internet connectivity on your mobile.
The bus will drop you in Nashik either at CBS or Mumbai Naka.
From both these locations, you can either take a Local City Bus travelling towards Trimbak or hire a direct auto rickshaw to reach the Campus.
