About Mr. Tu

Hello, Wangenheim MS students!

My name is Mr. Tu and I look forward to being your teacher for this upcoming school year!

Just like many of you, I was born and raised in San Diego. I grew up in the City Heights neighborhood and completed my college education at San Diego State University (SDSU). When I'm not teaching, I spend a lot of time learning how to play more instruments, listening to new music (I'll always take suggestions), cooking, playing video games, and playing with my derpy dog, Lenny.

Through the creation of music, I hope that all students will be able to discover their artistic potential. Remember, you will only grow and improve as much as you allow yourself to. As your teacher, I will help to facilitate and nurture that growth over your time in the Mira Mesa music programs.
