Thanks ASB for kicking off the year with a pep rally!
The start of every school year is an opportunity to continue an existing club or start a new club.
Clubs are a great way to gather people with common interests and goals.
All clubs must be approved by ASB governing board members and administration.
Here is what you will need:
1 - A name, a common interest that brings people together (i.e. chess club, drama club, boys’ basketball).
2 - A certificated faculty member (teacher) on campus to be your advisor.
3 - Club officers: President, VP, Treasurer, and Secretary.
4 - An established time & meeting place.
All clubs must complete Club Packet paperwork at the beginning of the academic year to be an official CHS club. Clubs are recognized on the first day of the following academic school year.
Make a copy, fill it out digitally or printed, and sign it
Turn paper packet into the ASB mailbox in the front office.
In an effort to have our sports teams have the best communication they can with parents and guardians, please share your contact information with our coaches.
Thank you for supporting our teams/players as we enter Fall Sports league play.

A student is considered on the Attendance Loss of Privilege (LOP) if they accumulate up to or or over 60 minutes of unexcused instructional time.
To recover unexcused instructional time students can attend Instructional Recovery Time (IRT), parents can call in excused absences or tardies, and staff can correct an error.
As we kick off the new school year, San Diego Unified is introducing a new learner-centered technology resolution to help students stay focused, healthy, and engaged in learning.
Beginning August 10, students will see a few important changes:
Video-streaming platforms, such as YouTube, will only be available on district-issued Chromebooks when enabled by teachers for instructional purposes.
Non-instructional gaming platforms will still be prohibited on district-issued devices.
Computer carts will be removed from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classrooms, while ensuring students with Individualized Education Plans, 504 Plans, or language-learning needs continue to receive appropriate access.
These updates are part of our commitment to creating learning environments where technology supports student learning, safety, wellness, and healthy development.
As a parent, you can also reduce screentime and non-instructional use of Chromebooks by activating your Blocksi Parent account to monitor and restrict access when your student is not at school. To learn more about how to use Blocksi, read this Blocksi Parent Job Aid.
To learn more about the new resolution click here and click here for the press release.
Every student must complete a registration form before participating in any before-school or after-school program on campus. Including Sports!
Greetings CHS Students please take this very important survey so that we may provide you with programs that matter to you!
