SDUSD SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH UPDATE

Dear San Diego Unified Family,

We have rescheduled the community forum to meet and interact with the finalists for the superintendent position:

When: Saturday, February 26, 2022

Time: 12-1:30pm

Location: Wilson Middle School, 3838 Orange Avenue, San Diego 92105

Please visit the superintendent search webpage for up-to-date event details.

RSVP is requested, not required, to superintendentsearch@sandi.net.

During the forum, you will have the opportunity to meet the superintendent finalists and provide input on your thoughts about the position and the future of the district. The goal is to choose the most outstanding leader for San Diego Unified and to engage employees, schools, and the San Diego community on the future of our district as we complete the superintendent selection process.

On December 14, the Board of Education announced the selection of the following individuals as finalists for the superintendent position: Dr. Lamont A. Jackson & Dr. Susan Enfield. The board will select a permanent superintendent in mid-March.

We believe that you and other stakeholders have a genuine investment in the environment in which you work each day, and your insight and sensitivities must be acknowledged in a meaningful way. We hope you will join us in attending the community input forum.

Sincerely,

Board of Education

San Diego Unified School District

ACADEMICS

NEW CHS ELECTIVES WEBSITE

Electives are an important part of the high school experience. They provide students the opportunity to explore their their passions, discover new interests, narrow down the subjects they’re not that interested in, and get the most out of their educational experience. With the articulation process right around the corner, students will begin selecting the courses they would like to take next school year. In an effort to learn more about all the electives CHS has to offer, Mr. Sparks's Video Production students created the following website. Be sure to check it out!
