• ASB Food Drive will begin November 1st to the 19th. Donate to your first period class! The class with the highest amount of items will win an ice cream party.

• 11/4 Field Hockey Senior Night @ CHS football field at 4 PM

• 11/3 Club meeting at lunch. At least ONE representative from EACH club must attend. Contact Rylie Sinks for questions. ryliejsinks@gmail.com

• The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Play @ 7pm in the Clairemont Quad. Bring your own blanket to sit on. Tickets are sold at the door: $7 for students, $10 for adults, $15 for premium tables (limited tables)

• Congrats to the winners of the Halloween Costume Contest! See our social media to see our winners! Thank you to everyone who attended and participated! We had an awesome Halloween at CHS!

• Club Rush was very successful! Over a dozen clubs successfully raised money to support their causes.

AP EXAM REGISTRATION GOING ON NOW!

College Board AP Exam registration is going on now. The deadline to sign up for an AP Exam is November 1, 2021. Instructions and information on how to sign-up can be found at the Clairemont High School AP Exam page using the link below.

CHS will be hosting the following two virtual college visits to educational institutions in our UC system. These events are free to attend and open to all.

CHS PEER TUTORING PROGRAM

CHS is putting together a peer tutoring program! Tutoring will take place Wednesday mornings from 8:30-9:30 in the Library.

CHS Player's Creed

It is the mission of the CHS athletics program to teach our student-athletes principles that will guide them for the rest of their lives. CHS athletics isn't just about better athletes, but better people. That is why we are so excited to launch our new CHS Player's Creed (see below). In collaboration with the CHS Athletic Leadership council and various stakeholders, the CHS Player’s Creed was developed to outline what we believe it means to be a CHIEF. Every student participating in athletics at CHS, as well as their parent/guardian will be required to sign the CHS Student-Athlete Contract which states the following:

As a student-athlete at Clairemont High School you have the privilege of being part of a memorable and life changing experience. With this privilege comes great responsibility. Therefore, it is the expectation of the CHS admin team and Athletic Director that all who participate in athletics actively work to model character and integrity of the highest quality in the classroom, on the court/pool/field, and in our community. By signing this contract, you agree to strive to live a life worthy of emulating by exhibiting Courage, Humility, Integrity, Endurance, and Focus in all that you do.

CHS COUNSELING GOOGLE CLASSROOMS

The CHS Counseling Staff has created grade level Google Classrooms to provide students with resources and supports during Online Learning. Although students were automatically enrolled in these classrooms based on their grade level, please have your child check their Google Classroom suite to be sure they are able to access this valuable resource.
