AP TESTING
The window is now open for students to sign up to take the AP exam. Students will need to follow all steps listed on the following website https://aptsusa.com/clairemont/ .Students may signup now until 10/30/20. Exam fees are $95.00. After 10/30/20 there will be a $40.00 late fee. Students who qualify for a free and reduced code will need to speak with their counselor. A free and reduced exam is $5. This year’s exam, no matter the environment (distance vs. In person learning), will be a normal exam (last year it was only multiple choice).

FREE FLU SHOTS
This fall, reducing the spread of respiratory illnesses, like flu, is more critical than ever. Although flu vaccination is not related to COVID-19, it is vital to minimize the impact of respiratory illnesses and resulting burdens on the healthcare system during the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting October 4, Champions for Health (CFH) will provide free flu shot clinics across San Diego County in partnership with the County of San Diego Health & Human Services Epidemiology and Immunization Services program and United Healthcare.

MAKIN' IT TOGETHER WITH CHS - MAKIN' PEANUT BUTTER CHEWS
Every Wednesday at 3:00 pm, the CHS ASB will be hosting a "Makin' It Together With CHS" event. Students, parents, and staff are all invited to join the Zoom each and every week to engage in a variety of hands on activities (i.e., learning to cook, craft, dance, etc.). This Wednesday, October 14, ASB students will be hosting the fourth "Makin' It" event with their "Makin' Peanut Butter Chews" Zoom session. Be sure the check out the flier below for a list of ingredients you can pick up prior to the session as well as a link to the Zoom meeting. We hope to see you all there.

We have been told by IT that wait times are getting shorter and parents are being encouraged to call later in the afternoon. Hours of operation:

CHS Player's Creed
It is the mission of the CHS athletics program to teach our student-athletes principles that will guide them for the rest of their lives. CHS athletics isn't just about better athletes, but better people. That is why we are so excited to launch our new CHS Player's Creed (see below). In collaboration with the CHS Athletic Leadership council and various stakeholders, the CHS Player’s Creed was developed to outline what we believe it means to be a CHIEF. Every student participating in athletics at CHS, as well as their parent/guardian will be required to sign the CHS Student-Athlete Contract which states the following:
As a student-athlete at Clairemont High School you have the privilege of being part of a memorable and life changing experience. With this privilege comes great responsibility. Therefore, it is the expectation of the CHS admin team and Athletic Director that all who participate in athletics actively work to model character and integrity of the highest quality in the classroom, on the court/pool/field, and in our community.
