Class overview

Welcome to Science with Ms. Segale.  This year in 6th grade Science our units will include: Microbiome, Metabolism, Traits & Reproduction, Thermal Energy, Oceans Atmosphere & Climate, Weather Patterns, Earth's Changing Climate, and Sexual Health Education.  In 6th grade Math, our units will include: Area & Surface Area, Introducing Ratios, Unit Rates & Percentages, Dividing Fractions, Arithmetic in Base Ten, Expressions & Equations, Rational Numbers, and Data Sets & Distributions.  In 7th grade Science, our units will include: Geology on Mars, Plate Motion, Rock Transformations, Phase Change, Chemical Reactions, Populations & Resources, Matter & Energy in Ecosystems, and Botvin Life Skills.
