Students will research academic papers, government publications, and city plans to discover the benefits of urban forestry and use tangible evidence to justify their project moving forward.

Students, in partnership with local experts, will develop a comprehensive map of proposed species and locations to increase the benefits of the urban forests in San Diego neighborhoods.
Students will use interactive software to develop a cohesive proposal that highlights the benefits of their proposed tree planting initiative.
Students will present their proposal live to local town councils and community stakeholders to persuade them to adopt their recommendations.
