Meet Our Health Office Staff

Hello! My name is Joanne Peterson, and I am the School Nurse for Nye Elementary on Tuesdays and Fridays. I've been a nurse since 2017, and have a dipped my toes in many different fields, from inpatient, to hospice, esthetics, and everywhere in between! I'm excited to start this new chapter in San Diego as a school nurse and look forward to the joy the children will bring!

Hi! I am Shannon Wilson and am the Health Tech at Nye Elementary School on Wednesdays. I am married and was blessed with 3 children, 2 daughters and 1 son. I have been working for the San Diego School District since August 1994, in 2004 I was transferred to the Nurses' Department to work as a Health Assistant then was promoted to Health Tech. I enjoy working with the students and meeting the parents. I am looking forward to another fulfilling school year.
