You may write by hand or on your computers. 12/11 you will give me a clean copy on paper of your presentation.
Timeline:
- 11/29 - Information and handout. Homework: Decide who to talk about. Find/take/make photo or drawing.
- 11/30 - In class: Write
- 12/1 - Homework: Work on your presentation
- 12/4 - In class: Write
- 12/5 - Homework: Finish your presentation. Bring it to school Wednesday on paper.
- 12/6 - In class: Writing editing group
- 12/7 - In class: Practice your presentation
- 12/8 - In class: Practice your presentation
- Homework: Finish practicing your presentation. Be ready to submit and present first thing in class Monday 12/11
- 12/11 - In class: Presentations
Other important information:
- Scoring rubric
- 50 point assignment:
- 10 points for the written portion
- 10 points for your notes during other students' presentations
- 30 points for you presentation
- It will be coded as "Projects," which is 25% of your final grade
- You may use the book and a dictionary.
- You may not use a translation tool. I cannot give you points for a text you have not written yourself in Spanish.
- A good presentation will use and show the material (vocabulary and grammar) we have been working on so far in Spanish 1/2.
- You will show a picture or drawing of the person you are presenting about. Put it in a Slide/document or have it on paper so we can project through the document camera. There should be no words on the Slides/document/picture/drawing.
