We do not grade every assignment. We have particular math problems picked out that address particular standards that we give as “evidence checks/quizzes”. These are what we grade. 

Each of problems fall into one of the Knowledge, Application, or Communication categories. (Students learn pretty quickly that even the ungraded things are important to complete).

Each problem is based on a scale of 0-4 (and is its own category/grade in gradebook).
