purpose of your ebinder

The purpose of an Ebinder is to organize digital notes, class documents, assignments, and events in order to maximize accessibility and collaboration.

Ebinders can do things that a normal binder can't:

• Files and notes are backed up to your Google Drive so they are sharable and won't get lost.
• Notes can include audio and images.
• Students practice 21st Century skills.
• Students can collaborate and share documents.
• Students can peer review and provide feedback on each other's assignments.

Setting Up Your EBinder

1. Log onto drive.google.com with your student account
   • Login: (studentID)@stu.sandi.net
   • Password: your computer login pw
2. Once you're on Google Drive, click the plus sign on the top left and then click "FOLDER"
   • Title this folder "2019-2020"
     • Double-click this folder open.
3. Once you're in the "2019-2020" folder, click the plus sign on the top left and then click "FOLDER"
   • Create a folder for EACH of your classes.
   • Once you've completed all your class folders, create a folder and title it "INBOX"
     • This folder will be for all of your documents that you have you quickly save, and then go back later and move them into the appropriate folder.
4. Once all of these folders have been created, double click and open up one of your subjects.
   • In each subject, create a folder for: Tests, Handouts, Homework, and Notes (4 separate folders!)
   • Create the tests, handouts, homework, and notes folder for EACH SUBJECT (Inbox does not need these)
