Hello my AWESOME new students! My name is Ms. Martinez and this year I'll be your new English teacher. Some of you I already know from the previous year and others, well we'll get to know one another real quick. I want you to all know that i'm so excited to meet every one of you. I'm excited to learn about who you are; what makes you happy, what you fear, what makes you special, etc. We will share our time reading stories that will make you love books, we will write essays about our lives and how we see ourselves in this crazy world, and we will have discussions that make us pause with wonderment...this year will be a good year. So, sit back and trust the process, I promise this year will be better than we ever thought.
