Job Descriptions

ASB President

The main focus of an ASB President is to work collaboratively with the ASB Advisor to develop, manage, and oversee Classroom procedures and to develop a positive/productive classroom environment. ASB President is the face of the governing program.

(Must be a Senior with one year of ASB experience prior to running for office)

ASB Vice President

The ASB Vice President manages which class is leading each week and what POL will be presented. If the ASB President is unavailable, assume all responsibilities. The ASB Vice President must sustain good relations with staff and be ready to tackle any challenges that may arise with events in a professional manner.

(Must be a Senior with one year of ASB experience prior to running for office)

ASB Secretary

The ASB Secretary must be a meticulous person. This person must be motivated and work to ensure all proper documents are in order for ASB. This person must be able to meet deadlines and, remember to turn in minutes regularly. Additionally, this position entails management of student government in-class committees.

(Must be a Junior or Senior with one year of ASB experience prior to running for office)

ASB treasurer

The ASB Treasurer should be a “detail-oriented” person who is good at basic math. One who is willing and able to keep solid financial records, and use honesty. The ASB Treasurer should also have good communication skills, with administrators, teachers, and other officers.
