March 22nd & April 5th: Rady Children's Hospital Toy Drive

Mrs. Jacobs is hosting a toy drive for Rady Children's Hospital. You may help by bringing toys directly to her any time before April 6th or by bringing toys to our next two meetings: March 22nd and April 5th.

Rady Children’s Hospital Toy Drive – Mrs. Jacobs room 325

Inspired by student work in my English class, I’ll be hosting a toy drive for Rady Children’s Hospital during Open House! Come by my room to drop off the appropriate kind of toys with your family during Open House OR any school day before Friday April 6^th.

Toys need to be NEW and not be made of fabric or wood so they are safe for children with low immune systems to play with (no germs!).

Top ten things on their wishlist:

1. New Release DVD’s (G, PG, or PG-13)

2. Infant/Toddler Items – Musical and Pop Up Toys

3. Rattles and/or Teething Toys in original packaging

4. Preschool/School Age Items – Fisher Price Medical Play Kits, Princess/Superhero Action Figures (no violent themes, guns, swords, etc.)

5. Legos (boys and girls, all ages)

6. Play-Doh, Crayola Crayons, Crayola Art Supplies

7. Teen Items – Headphones, Nail Polish Kits, $5-$10 Gift Cards (Target, Best Buy, Starbucks, etc.)

8. Electronic Games – Nintendo Wii, Play Station 3 & 4, Xbox 360 in original packaging

9. Board/Card Games – Apples to Apples, Sorry, Jenga, UNO

10. Teen Books/Journals
