About Me

Hi Everybody! Just a little about me...I grew up in San Diego and attended San Diego State University for my both my BA in English and then for my Education Specialist credential. I currently live in Point Loma, and I've lived here for the last 3 years. This is my 11th year of teaching at Dana Middle School, and before that I taught at Penn Elementary and Fletcher Elementary. I have 3 kids, aged 13, 11, and 5 that I love dearly and I've been married to my awesome wife for 16 years. My main passion and hobby outside of school is surfing, and I try to spend as much time at the beach and in the ocean as my schedule will allow. I also like to go camping, ride my bike and skateboard, and spend time outdoors as much as possible. I've been vegetarian for about 10 years and try to eat primarily plant-based. I really hope to help you do the best that you possibly can and I hope to help you become passionate about your own learning and self-improvement. Let's have a great year together!!!!
