The San Diego Unified School District Central Office student internship program is committed to instilling insight and interest in a career in school system organizational support. The YOUnified program is focused on offering interns a learning environment “where you will learn, grow, and thrive.” At the same time, resulting in the development of a diverse, new employee pipeline dedicated to the success of future students and the district.
GAIN VALUABLE WORK EXPERIENCE AS AN SDUSD CENTRAL OFFICE INTERN
San Diego Unified's Central Office Student Internship program provides current high school seniors, 16 years of age and older, current college students, and recent graduates with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a wide variety of fields. Interested applicants must fill out and submit an application form by the designated deadline for their desired internship program.
The selection process involves screening the applications and references, and, for finalists, a job interview will be conducted.
SPRING SESSION **CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS**
Applications for the 2022-2023 Spring Session must be submitted no later than March 3, 2023. Offer letters will be sent by March 17. Spring Session Internships begin the week of April 10 and end June 14, 2022.
Applicants may be eligible to apply for multiple sessions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Current high school senior or junior at a San Diego Unified school.
(Parent must grant permission if under 18 years of age)Current College or University student.
Recent college graduate.
1 Letter of Recommendation.
Pass a federal background check.
(if 18 years of age or older)Reliable transportation.
Must have availability to work within business hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
