Welcome to Grant TK-8's Back to School Night(s)! This page will provide a general overview of what you can expect as well as where and when you can access the important information that our educators have to share with you all.
We designed this experience specifically so families with multiple learners at both elementary and middle school levels can access the experience with less overlap. See more information below regarding the details around what happens during each portion of the evening.
The elementary portions of the evening will begin our Back to School Night experience at 5pm.
Then at 6pm, Principal Cain will host a Welcome Back/Overview session via zoom.
Between 7pm and 8pm will be the window during which our secondary (middle school) educators will host their program offerings.
In planning our Back to School Night, we placed a high emphasis on quality. Some educators felt it was important for families to have a recorded message or presentation that they can reference later in the year, whereas others felt the best support they could offer would involve zooming directly with families. Thus, you will find a variety of different styles and methods of information delivery for our Back to School Night. If educators elected to zoom with families, the zooms would fall within their prescribed time windows (5-6pm for elementary; 7-8pm for middle school).
Please also feel free to explore our site to also access information about our special programs, located via the "Enrichment, SPED, Counseling, and Other" as well as the "Grant PTA" and "Grant Parent Foundation" pages!
Thank you!
