Conditions when submitting:
We welcome submission from all Scripps ranch students. If you submit here, you will be entered into the Film Competition portion of the Visual Arts Festival.
When you submit, your film will be evaluated by a real film critic. Your film will also be added to a "viewing reel" for one of the viewing rooms, open on the night of the event, and viewable by Scripps Ranch teachers and students through the website.

If you are not in Mrs. Francisco's film class, OR you are not in any of Mr. Wilson's classes, you need to have your parent/guardian submit a permission form, in order to be considered. Anyone in your film also need to submit a form.
Guidlines for film submission:
You must be a Scripps Ranch student to participate (friends can help, but they won't win an award or be able to submit the project).
Your films should be a PG rating - any violence that is part of the plot should be minimal or happen off screen.
No guns should be depicted on screen.
All grade levels are welcome to submit a film.
Your film must somehow address the theme of "Westerns."
Only one film per director - you are welcome to participate and help create more films, but you are limited in submissions to one per director.
All music must follow copyright guidelines.
Films must be appropriate for a middle school audience, as they will be shown at a community event.
Students not in Mr. Wilson or Mrs. Francisco's film classes require a permission form - see the link below to complete a form online.

To submit your film, please complete the form (see below), uploading your .mov or MP4 video. You'll need to log in with your student ID login.
If the video is too large, or if you have trouble attaching it, share from your Google drive account with hfrancisco@sandi.net, OR stop by room 900 and see Mrs. Francisco so we can be sure to get the file.
