Math

In this 9th grade Integrated Math I course, students will complete components of the district's San Diego Enhanced Mathematics initiative with integration of this PBL component where students explore and identify their future career dreams.

• Critical Concept: Modeling with Functions

  • Learning Target 1: Students understand properties of different families of functions used to model different phenomena, relating features of functions to features of the real world quantities being modelled.

• Critical Concept: Create and Interpret Models for Data

  • Learning Target 1: Students will explore univariate and bivariate statistical relationships to ask and answer questions of interest

  • Learning Target 2: Students use the language of statistics and data science to show and explain the correspondences across representations
