When can I enroll my student for the current year?
If SRHS is your assigned neighborhood school, and your student is currently high school age, you may enroll for the current school year at any time by completing our Google Form. If not, please keep reading the questions below.
When can I enroll my student for next year?
If your student is a 92131 resident and is coming from a school other than Marshall Middle School: please check the main page of this Enrollment site for updates; we open enrollment for the upcoming year in February.
If your student has been offered a Choice seat:
The district releases the Choice lists in the early spring (February/March). For Choice students, please look for an email from us with more information about the Choice enrollment process.
Moved during the summer? Plans changed? Enrollment continues until school starts -don't worry! We will still have class space open.
My student attends Marshall Middle School. What do I do to enroll them at SRHS?
A "Continuing Student" paperwork packet will be sent home with your student in the early spring. Please return the paperwork to MMS in a timely manner to ensure their enrollment can be completed.
What if the student does not live with parents?
Only a parent or legal guardian can enroll a student. Please contact us (see below) before completing the Google Form. You will be asked to provide legal documentation showing proof of guardianship for the 92131 resident who is enrolling the student.
What if our proof of residence is not under my name?
Please contact us (see below) before completing the Google Form, so we can determine how to proceed.
How do I know if I live within the Scripps Ranch High School boundaries?

Does the school have tours?
At this time, we do not offer guided school tours.
Your family is always welcome to attend events that occur after school hours (athletics events/games, band concerts, etc.) in order to see our campus, and to get a feel for some of our great activities.
We do offer a "Falcon Day" for incoming Freshmen (students only) in February - the main page of this website will have a link to sign up once enrollment is open.
My student plans to join an activity (athletic team, marching band, etc.). How can I contact that coach to get more information?

We live out of the San Diego Unified District boundaries (Poway, Rancho Bernardo, etc.). What do we need to do to enroll at SRHS?
You must first apply online for Choice for the school(s) you are interested in, and be offered a seat at SRHS.
If/when your child is offered enrollment, you will then need to complete an Interdistrict Attendance Permit (IAP). For more information, please visit the Interdistrict Attendance Permit webpage.
