Frequently Asked Questions about Enrollment:

• When can I enroll my student? 

If SRHS is your assigned neighborhood school, and your student is currently high school age, you may enroll at any time by completing our Google Form. If not, please keep reading the questions below.

• My student attends Marshall Middle School. What do I do to enroll at SRHS?  

We will send "Continuing Student" paperwork home with your student in the early spring. Please return the paperwork in a timely manner to ensure their enrollment can be completed.

• When can I enroll my CHOICE student, or my student coming in from a different school? 

The district releases the Choice lists in the early spring (February/March). As soon as we have the information from the district, we will contact you to begin the enrollment process. 

Enrollment continues through the summer -don't worry! We will still have class space open. 

• What if the student does not live with parents?  

We will need proof of guardianship with the resident who is registering the student.

• What if the proof of residence is not under my name? 

We may need more documentation and signed affadavit, please contact us.

• How do I know if I live within the Scripps Ranch High School boundaries?  

Enter your address in the SDUSD School Finder to find your neighborhood school.  

• Does the school have tours? 

At this time, we do not offer guided school tours. Please contact us if you would like more information.

• Where do I find information for International Student Exchange Program?  

Please visit the district website for more information.

• We live out of district. When should we submit an Interdistrict Attendance Permit?  

You must first apply online for Choice during the application period for the schools you are interested in. 

If/when your child is offered enrollment, you will then need to complete an Interdistrict Attendance Permit (IAP). For more information, please visit the Interdistrict Attendance Permit webpage.
