Meet Your Teacher

Welcome! My name is Amelia Ortega. I grew up in San Diego, CA. I graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Liberal Studies and an M.A. in English literature. I also hold a California Single Subject Teaching Credential in English Language Arts from my alma mater. I have taught English at the middle school and high school level. When I am not teaching, I enjoy practicing yoga , biking, going on hikes, and volunteering. I also love to travel and have been to 10+ countries across the Americas, Asia, and Europe.
