PrimeTime Employment Opportunities

We have an ongoing need for qualified, upbeat, high-energy, and enthusiastic individuals interested in making a positive impact on the youth in San Diego Unified School District as PrimeTime Before and After School Leaders.

After School Leaders implement engaging, quality curriculum and structured after school academic and enrichment activities for students in grades transitional kindergarten through 8th grade in 144 elementary, TK-8 and middle schools. Responsibilities may include tutoring and mentoring individuals or groups, homework assistance, performing arts, music and drama, sports, technology, and service-learning projects.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a high school diploma/GED and a passing score on the Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam (CAPE) or submit post-high school education requirements (AA degree or higher or 48 eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university). Each provider may have additional requirements, see contact list below. Once you have met the minimum qualifications for this position, you are eligible to apply for open positions with the PrimeTime Partner organizations operating after school programs. SDUSD is offering the CAPE test online and at no cost to interested candidates.  Please make sure to include a copy of a U.S. High School Diploma, U.S. High School Transcript, GED, or Foreign Equivalency Certificate to the online application.
