2026 LMEC High School
Graduation Ceremony Information
for Students and Parents
The LMEC High School Graduation Ceremony is on Thursday May 28th at 4:30 p.m. at the Multipurpose Field.
A mandatory rehearsal is currently scheduled for the morning of Wednesday May 27th at 9am in the GYM.
Please read through the expectations carefully.
Only students who meet all eligibility requirements are permitted to attend the ceremony.
Tickets are needed to attend the ceremony; seating will be first-come, first-served and gates will open at 3:45pm.
12th Grade students participating in the ceremony should arrive at the LMEC Multipurpose Room on the Elementary Side at 3:30 p.m., fully dressed, ready to go; all graduates must wear their cap and gown.
Parking at LMEC is available in the main lot, the street and the visitor lot west of the stadium next to Memorial park. Families who have the ability to use a rideshare service on this day are encouraged to do so. Families who are driving might want to have the driver drop off guests at the stadium entrance and then go find parking.
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. and will last approximately ninety minutes.
We have a photographer for this event. The photographer will take a picture of each student at the moment of recognition as well as many candid shots. The photos will be made available online after the ceremony for families to purchase.
We do not plan to video-record or live-stream this event.
Students should dress nicely for this event. The school dress code applies. Failure to follow the dress code will likely result in complete exclusion from the ceremony and there will not be time to go home, change, and return.
The turf field is brand new; stiletto heels are NOT permitted; wedges or block heels are acceptable. Students are encouraged to wear sneakers or flats.
Once the ceremony starts, additional accessories (i.e., leis, pins, flowers, etc.) for the students are prohibited
Only designated staff and participating students are permitted to be on the field. This is applicable at all times (before, during, and after the ceremony). At the conclusion of the ceremony, students will meet their parents/guardians at the top of the ramp (SE corner of stadium). This means that parents will walk UP THE STAIRS from their seats to meet their child.
Balloons are not permitted in the stadium as they obstruct the view of others. Balloons should be left in vehicles.
Noisemakers are not permitted as they deny parents the opportunity to hear the speeches and the names of graduating students.
Pets are not permitted, with the exception of licensed and trained guide dogs.
Please leave our Stadium cleaner upon exit than it was upon entry.
