It is time to submit nominations for the 33rd annual Countywide Classified School Employee of the Year program. The California Department of Education has updated its website to include the necessary application information. Because the application components are significantly different than previous years and because the California Department of Education has a later deadline this year, the deadline to submit your districtwide winner has been extended to:

March 22, 2021 at 3 p.m. via email nshina@sdcoe.net.

The application consists of a fillable application template and a Word document written by the nominee’s supervisor and/or nominator. See corresponding documents for further details.

A nomination committee made up of classified service unit representatives from throughout the county will select the winner. The winner will receive a plaque, will be recognized on a perpetual plaque on display at the winner’s district office, and will be eligible to compete at the state level.
