Family Voice & Collaborative Leadership
At Chollas Mead, we believe the best decisions are made when families, staff, and community partners work together. Our "Community School" model ensures that your voice helps guide our programs, priorities, and student supports.

We work collaboratively to:
Center family and student voice in school decisions
Ensure transparency in Community Schools planning and use of resources
Identify priorities that respond to the needs and strengths of our school community

Families are more than volunteers—they are leaders. You can help guide Chollas Mead by participating in our formal leadership groups:
SSC (School Site Council): Oversees the school budget and the Single Plan for Student Achievement.
SGT (Site Governance Team): Focuses on day-to-day school operations and policy decisions.
ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee): Advises on programs and services for students learning English.
