Serving the residents of Arizona for many years, Dr. Jun Zhong is a ABPN Board Certified Psychiatrist , who helps his patients at Sanctuary Treatment Center for Addiction Medicine and Behavioral Wellness. He is skilled at building close relationships with his patients and takes time out to listen to each patient's health concerns and works on their treatment accordingly.
Dr. Zhong received his medical degree from Southeast University Medical College. Furthermore, to gain practical experience, he completed a residency in psychiatry at Saint Elizabeths Hospital. His additional focus of interests in psychiatry includes Medication-Assisted Treatment of Addiction, Psychopharmacology, and Community Psychiatry.
As a psychiatrist, Dr. Zhong is committed to the continuous care and education of his patients who are in need of therapy. His passion for his work is unparalleled. He ensures every individual leaves the clinic feeling satisfied and motivated to get their lives back in order. When not busy seeing patients, he enjoys hiking, golfing, cooking, traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
John Samaan MD MPH specializes in adult, geriatric, consultation liaison and dual diagnoses of substance abuse and mental illness. He offers his clinical expertise to patients in the communities of Phoenix, Gilbert and Glendale, AZ and Michigan USA.
A native of Troy, Michigan, USA, Dr. Samaan received his undergraduate degree in Bachelor in Art and Science Psychology Degree from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI. As for his medical school education, Dr. Samaan obtained his medical degree from Xavier University Aruba School of Medicine in Aruba, Netherland Antilles.
He then went on to obtain an additional Masters in Public Health Degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, in Miami, FL USA. After a year or so of additional research and learning more about the different psychiatric disorders, including substance use disorders, that seem to be prevalent in the community, he then attended and completed his General Psychiatry Residency Training at Larkin Community Hospital, Department of Psychiatry, in South Miami, FL USA.
He is currently Board-Certified in General Psychiatry with Am. Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.
