this week aimed to design a phone holder. i had searched alot about that and I chosed this design to cut.
I love flafilo a lot so when I found it on google I tends to design it is cute and beautiful.

1- Searched on google about shapes that can be suitable to be phone holder and elephant shape that's what i choosed
2- downloaded pic of elephant pen holder in 2D and inserted to fusion 360 and sketched the layout by spline and line and rectangle command and extruded it 3 mm thickness and made assemble.
3- export drawing in DXF
you can see the elevation ,base and side on journal files drive.
I finished from sketch and import the files as DXF and insert to laser cutting and prepare the machine to cut.
1- I turned to machine and make sure that the switch is on.
2-save the file as dxf and download to laser cutter machine .
3- put plywood sheet and made sure by lens the distance from nozzle and sheet is suitable and start from origin.
4- choosed file name with maximum power 65 and speed 20 with 2.24 sec.
when it cut I tried to collect with each other
1- put the elevation on base and use screw and nut to fixe it by T slot.
2- put two sides that fixed with elevation.
3-put the other elephant elevation and fixe with screw and nut.
yes. first time I asked maha for the design and said the slot's dimension isn't correct I came back and reset the dimension and save the file and import to laser cutting and cut successfully.
the slot's dimension wasn't correct and return to reset and go to cut.
there were two problems:
1-after finishing cutting I found that the base isn't suitable with sides. as it shown in pic. so I returned to fusion and make it suitable and assemble with each other as shown in pic above.
so I decided to ignore the base in usage.
2- when I finally sketched I noticed that the assigment requirement the sketch must be fully defined .
so I returned to sketches and make the base and side fully defined but the elevation side i made it with much splines so I tried to make it fully defined but I can't. but the side and base fully defined successfully and it didn't affect on cutting.
