Portable Vacuum Cleaner
The ass. idea is to create a small vacuum cleaner for very tiny cleaning duties.
there were two aspects for fabrication either a motor and a simple fan from a pepsi can or using a simple fan
i tried making the design using a simple fan.

Tutorial
Material used:
old boxes to create the body of the vacuum cleaner.
Straw to collect dust
on/off button to control operation of the device
LED green lamp to indicate that the device is working
Fan to collect dust
5v adapter as a power source.
male-female jumpers for connections in breadboard
male male jumpers for connection between LED and breadboard
Resistor 220 ohm for the lamp.
wires in breadboard
The design circuit consists of:
mini-breadboard to connect power source , wires , on/off button, LED Lamp, and a fan.
when turning on the button the fan moves and the lamp lights up with green light, then the straw collect dust acting as a vacuum cleaner.
I started by simulating the circuit in tinker cad
Power source: 5V adapter
because it was the suitable power for the fan.
Tinker cad simulation
phase 1
I started by bringing the breadboard "mini"
the connection would be parallel connection
connected the lamp with male-female jumpers to fit in cardboard surface
used 220 ohm resistance for the lamp
connected the fan jumpers in parallel with the lamp
put the on/off switch on cardboard surface and connected it with crocodile jumpers then male-male jumpers with the breadboard.
connected the power source "5V" adapter.
it worked, both lamp and fan worked together
phase 2
mounting components on card board
divided the components on 2 boxes
first box contains fan and straw
fan wires connected to another box that contains breadboard , on/off switch , LED , and a notch for the adapter
Phase 3
operation
connect power source to electricity
press on switch
hold the fan box slowly near the dust
wires in breadboard

Feedback:
create the required circuit on tinker cad before performing it on the real breadboard to solve any problem that may evolve
suggestions from peers:
Passant suggested giving some coverage for the boxes used in design if possible.
try to make a single body for both board and fan to make it more user-friendly.
make sure the vacuum cleaner "move and gives light" when connected to power source.
Suggestions from me to peers:
to check the previous game kit for any missing/extra components.
choosing between motor a fan
choosing between circular round design or a rectangular box
i watched tutorials using both ways to help me decide
the circular round shape works well with motor based design
the rectangular box shape works well with fan based design
Mistakes:
Making the vacuum cleaner with the fan in the kit didn't work with great power. it grabbed atoms of dust so wasn't the optimal solution .
most tutorials use old laptop fan.
Making a small filter acting as a dust bag in the vacuum cleaner to keep the fan working with high efficiency but since my design considered a simple design and the amount of collected dust wasn't huge i excluded this from the design.

Movement using motor helped me visualize a bit understand the first movement step in my final project.
Moving the car built in the hackathon with push buttons.
as a person who always fear any electric device, playing with jumpers, buttons, crocodile wires, LED lamps was a good push to overcome my fear and have fun watching the things i connect move.
