Hi, I'm Osama, a computer science undergraduate at Helwan University and a passionate tech enthusiast. I enjoy exploring new technologies and building projects that create real impact. One of the projects I’m most proud of is a website I developed to address homelessness, which won 2nd place for being one of the most positive, socially impactful solutions.
I'm experienced in web development, robotics, and competitive programming. I've worked on various projects, including an AI-powered Gomoku game developed during my AI course, and participated in the WRO (World Robot Olympiad) virtual games, where my team ranked among the top 30 internationally, representing Egypt. Also one of my enjoyable experiences is participating in ECPC competition in AASTMT.
I’ve also been an active member of the GDSC Helwan core team, where we achieved the #1 rank in the MENA region for being the most active branch and producing the most-viewed educational videos.
Outside academics, I enjoy solving the Rubik’s Cube—my fastest time is 30 seconds—and I’m also passionate about fast typing, reaching speeds of 101 WPM.
I joined the Maker Diploma because I love the process of creating things from the ground up. Having worked with Arduino before, I’m excited to go beyond coding or designing alone and learn how to turn ideas into full prototypes. I’m also looking forward to improving my documentation skills, connecting with like-minded makers, and having fun throughout this journey.
