Hola! This is Hala!

I’m a STEM teacher and content developer which is just a fancy way of saying I make learning Science, Technology, and Engineering fun and slightly less confusing.

My passion lies in empowering young people to become independent, productive members of society by conducting 21st-century skills through building cool things and solving real problems. Whether it’s hands-on projects or just a sprinkle of organized chaos in the classroom.

I joined the Maker Diploma program in Summer 2022, which shaped my journey and gave me the tools to turn my passion into purpose.

I’ve worked as a Maker Diploma instructor for two rounds now, and I’m thrilled to start this third round.
