Esraa RAGEH

Hello, I am Esraa Rageh, a freelance trainer, facilitator, content developer, project coordinator, traveler, and maker :) Once upon a time, as a child, I enjoyed touching different materials and wondered about the creative possibilities of combining these diverse elements. For instance, we have cotton threads, a soft material. What would happen if we utilized more rigid materials like plastic sheets instead of fabric?

This curiosity led me to explore various arts, with a particular focus on embroidery. As I grew older, my passion for crafting by hand persisted. Despite working in a different field, my inclination towards making was reignited when I joined the Maker diploma program as a student in 2021.

I define myself as someone with experience in three areas of expertise:

Facilitating and Instructing:
- Worked as an instructor with san3aTech in the Maker diploma and the Girls Make project.
- Collaborated with entities such as the National Council of Childhood & Motherhood (NCCM), Goethe-Institut, The Dialogue Company, and the British Council.
Content Development:
- Contributed technical content to the Maker classroom project with san3a, also in Girls Make 2023.
- Developed non-technical content with The Dialogue Company.
Project Coordination:
- Co-managed end-to-end logistics, budgeting, stakeholder networking, and content development for projects such as Dream Delta (2020), Digital Girls (2023), and Networking Events (2023).
