the period dream...

In 2016, we embarked on a distribution to reduce the issue of inaccessible menstrual products in rural communities. We partnered with Always Nigeria to distribute over 7000 products to school girls but within a month, we knew it was a big mistake!

For an impact to be made, we calculate the level of reach, and how sustainable the impact is and that distribution was anything but sustainable. With this, we re-designed the Red Dots project to ensure sustainable impact and access to safe products.

With period poverty on the rise, and girls missing out of school, we designed the red dots to increase access to safe, comfortable and sustainable menstrual products through distribution of reusable cloth pads, pants and menstrual cups with partnership with Organicup and the Period Movement.
