Samakkhiwitthayakhom School is one of premier public high schools in Chiang Rai. It was established in 1908. Now in its 108 years. It encompasses both lower and upper secondary students (Matthayomsuksa 1 - 6) with about 3,470 students combined.

The Office of Basic Education Commission (OBEC), Ministry of Education has developed the “High Performing Schools” project to improve and develop teaching and learning to meet international standards.
