Lower Secondary Level:

1. Enrichment Science and Mathematics Program

3. New! International Program (IP), Education Hub. The program will follow the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) curriculum of B.E. 2551.

Upper Secondary Level:

International Program (IP) Outstanding Components

Samakkhiwitthayakhom School, Chaing Rai

1. All subjects will be led by native teachers, excluding Thai language.

2. Focusing on active learning, Integrative Teaching, and STEM Education

3. Intending to follow the curriculum with Cambridge.

4. Only 25 students in one class

5. There will be teacher assistants who graduated in English or an International Program to communicate and explain the lesson content for students. In addition, they will be coordinators.

6. There will be co-teachers from the ordinary program to examine the accuracy and scope of total content.

7. Student will study a third language beside Thai and English

8. Students will attend international club activities i.e. golf, tennis, international music, chorus band, foreign culture, and languages.

9. There will be after school club activities and the members are required to present the outcome of all activities in English.

10. A Community Survey will be carried out under the cooperation of junior and senior high school students.

11. There will be International Camps with special expense;

1st year (M.1 and M.4) Camp setting in Thailand

2nd year (M.2 and M.5) Camp setting in Southeast Asia

3rd year (M.3 and M.6) Camp setting in Europe/USA/Australia

12. The program will follow the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) curriculum of B.E. 2551, together with the Cambridge printing company.

13. There will be an annual international test, carried out by the international institute at extra expense. An International Proficiency Test on each subject will be taken every academic year (additional expense).

14. Extra class will be fulfilled for M.1 content.

15. Multimedia software for English learning will be applied to English learning.

16. Both Grade 6 students of OBEC curriculum and international curriculum could enroll for the entrance exam since the exam will be translated into English.

17. Both Grade 9 students of OBEC curriculum and international curriculum could enroll for the entrance exam since the exam will be translated into English.

18. Since Chiang Rai has been remarked as a special economic zone for joining ASEAN Economic community and to be involved with AEC, the curriculum will add acknowledged learners in international investment, logistics, and multi-cultures.

19. Clothing:

• Physical education and local dressing uniform are the same as the regular program.
• There are two school uniforms: the normal uniform like regular program students wear with Thai letters and the uniform with English stitched name and student code.
• Wear suits for the formal ceremonies
