Marc Amon is a retired Police Commander with nearly 30 years of experience in law enforcement, workplace investigations, and personnel oversight. During his tenure with the Oxnard Police Department, he held leadership roles in patrol operations, gang enforcement, SWAT, neighborhood policing, and training. He also directed recruitment initiatives and helped implement data-driven strategies to strengthen accountability and performance.
Marc’s expertise includes conducting complex personnel investigations, managing high-liability disciplinary cases, and advising on policy compliance across both unionized and non-unionized public-sector environments. He played a key role in launching Oxnard’s first intelligence-led policing initiative and led the early adoption of body-worn camera technology in Ventura County.
At Salus, Marc leads a variety of special projects and investigations involving employee misconduct, policy violations, and administrative reviews. He holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Crime and Intelligence Analysis and continues to serve as a Human Resources Administrative Investigator for public agencies in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
