Marc Amon is a retired Police Commander with nearly 30 years of experience in law enforcement, workplace investigations, and personnel oversight. During his career with the Oxnard Police Department, he held leadership roles in patrol operations, gang enforcement, SWAT, Neighborhood Policing, and Training. He also led recruitment efforts and helped implement data-driven strategies to improve accountability and performance.
Marc’s expertise includes conducting and reviewing complex personnel investigations, managing high-liability disciplinary cases, and advising on policy compliance in unionized public-sector environments. He was instrumental in launching Ventura County’s first intelligence-led policing initiative and led the department’s early adoption of body-worn camera technology.
At Salus, Marc focuses on investigations involving employee misconduct, policy violations, and administrative reviews. He holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Crime and Intelligence Analysis and continues to serve as a Human Resources Administrative Investigator for public agencies in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
