Cherokee Nation citizens can apply for a wide range of scholarships, including:
Anna Belle Mitchell Memorial Scholarship – For pottery students (submit three art samples)
Audie Baker Memorial Scholarship – For NSU students majoring in Special Education (3.0 GPA)
Bill Rabbit Legacy Art Scholarship – For fine arts or art education majors (3.0 GPA)
Cherokee Nation Council, Deputy Chief, and Principal Chief Leadership Scholarships – $5,000 awards for students showing leadership and service
Cherokee Nation Foundation Scholarship – For students completing CNF ACT or College Prep programs (3.5 GPA)
Cherokee Phoenix Continuing the Legacy Scholarship – Includes a 10-week paid internship.
Barbara Jean Dyer Scholarship – Art majors, 2.0 GPA.
Brent & Janees Taylor RSU Business Scholarship – Business major at Rogers State University, 2.5 GPA.
Charles Alan Beauchamp Scholarship – Environmental majors with volunteer service, 3.0 GPA.
Cherokee Nation Behavioral Health Scholarship – Behavioral health majors; pay-back service to CN required.
Cherokee Nation Businesses Scholarship – 48+ credit hours, 3.0 GPA, fields like Business, IT, and Engineering.
Clarkson Family Scholarship – Students attending colleges in New England, 3.0 GPA.
Donald J. & Mary H. Matuszak Scholarship – Kansas State University students, 2.5 GPA.
Indian Women’s Pocahontas Club Scholarship – Graduating seniors or undergraduates, 2.5 GPA.
Jack Forrest Scholarship – CN citizens in Oklahoma playing softball/baseball, 3.0 GPA.

ACT Fee Waivers Available for 2025-2026
We are excited to announce that ACT fee waivers are now available! If you meet the eligibility requirements, these waivers can help you take the ACT at no cost and provide additional benefits to support your college admissions journey.
What the ACT Fee Waiver Covers:
Basic registration fees for up to four ACT tests, with or without the writing test.
Free access to The Official ACT Self-Paced Course, Powered by Kaplan.
Test Information Release (TIR) reports for three select test dates each year. (Note: The February National ACT administration is the last TIR-eligible test date of the school year.)
Unlimited additional score reports sent to colleges or scholarship agencies after testing.
College application fees—Students can request to have their application fees waived or deferred if they have taken the ACT with a fee waiver. (Note: Students must obtain the Waiver or Deferral of College Admissions Application Fee form from our office and send it directly to the college.)
