Hello,

Welcome to my 2nd grade webpage! My name is Mrs. Susan Young. I have been teaching in Salisbury Township since 1994. I began as an instructional assistant in Salisbury High School, then in 1997 I transferred to Harry S Truman as an instructional assistant for the Title 1 Reading Program. In September of 2003, I began teaching kindergarten.  I taught kindergarten for 3 years then moved up to 1st grade, where I taught for 3 years then transferred to  2nd grade for 1 year,  4th grade for 15 years and now I am back teaching 2nd grade. 

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Moravian College, my Elementary K-6 Teaching Certificate from DeSales University and my Masters in Reading from Walden University, I recently earned my principal certificate from CLIU #21. 

I have lived in Salisbury Township my entire life. I graduated from Salisbury High School and always wanted to come back to teach here. I am married and I have two daughters.
