Mr. Michael R. Barna

Welcome to Mr. Barna's Web Page! I have been teaching Social Studies at Salisbury High School since 1997. Prior to teaching at Salisbury, I taught 9 years at Pius X Junior/Senior High School in Bangor, PA. In addition to my teaching responsibility at Salisbury, I am the Social Studies Department Chair, the Debate Coach and a member of the Student Assistance Program (SAP) team. Through the study and understanding of history students will come to realize and appreciate the role of good citizenship in the founding and continuation of America society. Currently I teach Advanced Placement World History, American Cultures II Honors, American Cultures II, Psychology, and Sociology.
