Mrs. Borthwick joined the FCS and Business department in 2007. She holds certifications in Family and Consumer Science, Comprehensive Social Sciences and History. She attended Heidelberg University earning a BA in History and a concentration in Economics. Post graduation, she completed her secondary education certification in Comprehensive Social Sciences at Cleveland State University. Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Mrs. Borthwick worked as a Student Advocate and classroom History teacher for at-risk youth. She has also instructed Geography, World History, and U.S. History, in Hudson, Ohio and Savannah, Georgia for regular education students, grades 7-12.
